Great tip from MacWorld for those who run Mac OS X Tiger (or later).

Let’s face it: Reading man pages in Terminal is a pain.
Here’s a good solution from MacWorld: Set up a command in your .profile to have man produce PostScript as output, then open that .ps in Mac OS X Tiger’s Preview, which converts it to PDF on the fly.
