Well, another Christmas has gone by, and another year has begun.
Once again I tried Christmas calendar blogging, but this time I didn’t quite make it. That is, I forgot the 13th and 15th, and then I didn’t prioritize it the whole last week, due to some extreme pre-holiday busyness.
Christmas was very nice and relaxed, New Year was spent in Bergen and was also generally good, with the notable exceptions of me being extremely tired on Friday because of the nine hour long drive on Thursday, and me suffering mortal fear while passing through the fireworks-wielding drunken crowd by Lille Lungegårdsvann (not my photo, btw), the small lake in the middle of the city, at midnight. Fireworks are nice things when viewed from a safe distance.
We recently got a new car, a Toyota 4-runner, which is a 4WD. I had never driven a 4WD before this one, and have to say I love it! I’m used to front wheel drive, which also is good for winter roads, but nothing beats 4WD. On the way home we were zipping along snowy mountain roads like nobody’s business.
2007 looks to be a year of changes. I’m already doing more Internet-related things at work, and I’ll be making an effort to have it stay that way.
